GST & TELSTRA SALE.

300 Australians demonstrated against the GST on Sunday.  Of course since his lies about the GST have been uncovered, no one trusts Prime Minister Johnny at all, trouble is, they don't trust Opposition Leader Kim either.

Independent Senator Harradine won the cause of Independents huge prestige when he refused the GST.  I do not think we should begrudge Taswegians the slightly larger share of Telstra funds that Harradine won.  After slowing the GST he deserved some reward.

It is becoming apparent that the Indonesian Government or army has been playing a shell game with military aid to Timor pro-integration hoodlums.

Haven't those people learned?  The media in a developed society far outranks the military.  As Indonesia becomes developed, what was previously hidden will be exposed.  Do those people think that they will not be given up when the economic screws are applied?  One has only to look at Pinochet.  Even Gaddafi was not immune to economic pressure.

And the Australian Media is heavily involved in Timor.  Some of their mates got murdered.  Even the Australian Federal Government has finally recognized this.
