- THE FIVE BILLION DOLLAR MAN -
Australia's treasurer Costello is being blamed for not accepting advice that would have stopped Australia's exposure to exchange losses of five billion dollars.
So the federal government has to sell Sydney Airport to make up the loss.
I vote instead we get rid of Costello, and turn the Airport into a park & housing estate. Then build a new Airport in Lithgow, (about 100 K's west of Sydney) and upgrade the commuter (train) service to over 150 KPH. (or around 30 - 40 minutes from central.)
- SIX MONTHS AFTER 9/11 -
Within hours of the 9/11 outrage, SPIN had responded with predictions about the world economy and Palestine. Those predictions are mostly fulfilled.
