HAND  CRAFTED  FOOTWEAR

HAND CRAFTED FOOTWEAR is about making shoes (or other footwear) at home by various methods, without the use of expensive machinery.

The course is normally 3 hours a week, with a choice of classes (Tuesday 1:00 - 4:00; Tuesday 5:00 - 8:00 and Wednesday 5:00 - 8:00.) for one year.  The fee of about $200 is waived for students in financial difficulty, and a statement of attainment certificate is issued to students who pass the examinations.

SHOE REPAIRING

SHOE  REPAIRING  COURSE is about resoling, and  heeling   of  worn  footwear    and  the  use  of the outsole  stitching  machine   patching   machine   redying   of uppers  and   recovering of  shoes.

The course is normally 4 hours a week, Monday  from   5:00 - 9:00 for one year.  The fee of about $200 is waived for students in financial difficulty, and a statement of attainment certificate is issued to students who pass the examinations.
